The need for Plant Condition Assessments has arisen because existing assets need to last longer as demands for capital and maintenance money reduce or redirect elsewhere. A condition assessment provides a systematic and flexible approach developed for plant owners to have accurate and up-to-date knowledge on the condition of their assets. This allows plant owners to make informed decisions on where to best spend money to provide safe assets and extend operating life.
